This one has been floating around for a while. I just hadn't gotten around to reading about it. Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has been campaigning for free-range poultry as opposed to the usually factory farmed chickens. Their aim? To see an end in Britain to the annual production and sale of hundreds of millions of cheap chickens and for consumers to opt for "morally better" free-range poultry.
But while their campaign has been backed by the RSPCA, it has outraged farmers and even some consumers who say the free-range varieties are just too expensive to produce and buy.
