ALF Bomb Threat

Someone claiming to represent ALF left a fake bomb at a medical school in LA.

The FBI wants the public's help to find the person who planted a fake bomb at UCSD that led to evacuations at the University's school of medicine on Wednesday. Officials released a letter by a group calling itself the Animal Liberation Front that claims responsibility for the scare. An audio recording of the bomb threat phoned in was also made public.

The first call was received by the school's animal research program on Tuesday night. On Wednesday morning the University received the letter, along with two other phone calls that warned the group would setoff explosives at the school's research buildings.
