I am glad to see that in general, Europe is moving in the direction of greater protection of animal rights with respect to this matter, and as a general rule, I would not support animal testing in cases where alternative methods are available.
However, if anything, I would probably rather see tests performed on animals rather than on human embryos.
That said, I do not have a sufficient understanding about the issues surrounding embryonic testing to provide an informed viewpoint on this matter.
