More than two tons of illegal ivory have been seized and more than 100 people have been arrested in the largest international operation targeting wildlife crime across Eastern Africa, the Kenya Wildlife Service and INTERPOL announced today.

This is absolutely wonderful news.
The illegal ivory trade really is a shocking trade which must be stopped, and any successful efforts to enforce legal restrictions in this area are to be welcomed and applauded.
Going forward, I sinecerely hope that the trade can be stopped altogether.
