A controversial new attraction that allows visitors to swim with sea lions at the West Edmonton Mall won't be reviewed until next year, according to the association that certifies zoos and aquariums in Canada.
For $150, visitors can don a wetsuit and play in the mall's indoor aquarium with Clara, Kelpie and Pablo, three sea lions.
...Two retailers in the giant mall, the largest in Canada, have also raised concerns about the attraction.
Officials with Lush Cosmetics and The Body Shop have both questioned whether allowing people to swim with sea lions is the best way to promote the protection of wildlife.
