Travellers to Beijing Olympics Warned to Watch Out For Dog Bites

Remember Beijing residents will be eating a lot less dog since they closed all those restaurants for the games. So, there may be more dogs around to bite you if you go to the Beijing Olympics.

According to a report in the American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene
, dog bites are a potential threat for those going to the games. China has the 2nd highest human rabies rate in the world. But, I'm sure they are cramming all those stray dogs into little cages as fast as they can. Here's a link to some cats crammed into cages about 8 inches high. They eat those too. No wonder they are so embarrassed to show this ugly side to the world.

Remember the barbaric treatment of these poor animals when the Chinese are proudly marching into that stadium during the opening ceremonies. I'll remember, but not while watching the games. I refuse to give them my time or attention.
