That is such a bizarre boneheaded defense I don't really know what to make of it.
"We are continuing to investigate and now know our employees were coerced by the activist to engage in behavior that is against our high standards for hen welfare for the sole purpose of filming a sensational video."

Turlock Egg Company Says Animal Activists Made Them Abuse Animals

Actually...if a white male posing as a manager tells an uneducated lower level employee to do something, you can bet the lower level employee probably will. I've seen it happen time and time again. Seems like the Animal Rights activist should have been reporting problems rather than forcing people to participate in his sensationalistic video. I have a lot of experience with videos and this one is definitely distorted to make it look way worse than it is. Sad that people will resort to such tactics to get their point across.
