President Obama overturned a last minute Bush regulation that would have allowed agencies to skip consulting with govt. scientists when reviewing EPA rules. Because science, like facts, have a liberal bias.
I am so glad this dim-witted moron is back in Texas. It will take a generation to clean up the damage he has done to this country.

Bush Administration Seeks to Screw Environment as Much as Possible Before Leaving Office
They are seeking a new rule that would allow mining and development without a full scientific assessment. Little wonder, as the Republican Party and this unpopular knucklehead of a president are both anti-science and anti-environment.
Look at is one among many middle fingers we can expect from him before he leaves office.
Worst. President. Ever.

Bush Relaxes ESA Standards, Sun Rises in East
Expect more of the Worst President Ever to find ways to give everyone and everything the middle finger before he leaves office.
The Bush administration yesterday announced plans to relax the law protecting endangered species to allow federal agencies to decide for themselves whether construction projects such as highways, dams or mines might harm endangered animals and plants. Is there anything this complete douche bag won't do for industry? I am counting the days until this moron goes back to his horrible little scrub brush ranch.
Under the altered rules, the government would no longer have to consult with independent scientists about the effect of new projects on wildlife. Thousands of consultations take place every year.

Feds Revoke 2004 Award for Chino Slaughterhouse Involved in Beef Recall
They've even asked for the plaque back. Oh the humanity! I can only hope our fearless leader awards the company president a Medal of Freedom if he's not to busy fantasizing about fighting the brown people in Afghanistan.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has revoked a "supplier of the year award" given to a Southern California slaughterhouse after inhumane treatment of cows prompted the largest beef recall in history.
A USDA spokeswoman says the government is also asking Chino-based Hallmark/Westland Meat Co., for its plaque back. The plant, which supplied one-fifth of the beef used in the federal school lunch program, won the award in the 2004-2005 school year.
Think about all those places that DON'T win those stupid plaques. Heckuva job there Georgie!

Bush Administration Tries to Weasel Out of Agreement to Protect Grouse
I'm counting the days until we're done with the Worst President Ever.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has asked a federal judge to allow it to withdraw from a recent agreement concerning a timeline for deciding whether sage grouse should be listed as an endangered species across much of the Rocky Mountain West.
The agency, in documents filed in U.S. District Court here, said it "inadvertently" entered into the agreement without proper review, and that the agreement could delay its decision about whether the chicken-sized grouse deserves federal protection.
Such a declaration could lead to new restrictions on residential, oil and gas and agricultural development.
Apparently, the Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies is about to release a report about the grouse that contains something called "science". Since the Bush Administration is faith based, they don't want something like rational thought to interfere with their decision making process. So, they wanted to ram this through ahead of time. Otherwise they would have to take into account the scientific conclusions of the Association. We can't have that interfere with Dead Eye Dick and his buddies now can we?
These people are just evil. There is no other word to describe them. They will do or say anything to screw over the planet for future generations. Evil.
